US CHIPS and FABS Act
03/10/2022 – To counteract the low market share of 12% in the semiconductor market, the US government has launched two initiatives:
CHIPS Act: a total of $52B in funding for semiconductor research, design and production.
FABS Act: 25% tax break for wafer fab construction and equipment.
