CRC Spotlight: BIM

25/12/18: In cleanroom and semiconductor construction, every detail counts. Our BIM models form the base for precise planning and execution and their building blocks, the Revit families, are the be-all and end-all. At CRC, we are taking the next step: introducing the Autodesk Content Catalogue and moving our libraries to the cloud. Maximum output through centralised control: This step is much more than simple data transfer. It is the basis for maximum efficiency and reliability in our planning:

  • Versioning solved: We eliminate the source of errors caused by different family versions. Everyone accesses the one current and verified source.
  • Consistent data quality: The central repository ensures uniform and consistent maintenance of naming conventions and metadata.
  • Find things faster, more time for planning: The integrated search function and flexible tag structuring save our Revit users valuable time.

Know what’s inside: Our ‘Revit families‘ are intelligent components that contain not only geometry but also all the necessary metadata. This enables structured, consistent planning based on the single source of truth principle.

Ready for the next level: Our BIM department provides company-wide training, handouts and presentation materials to ensure that all CRC employees can immediately use these new, more efficient processes and take their planning to the next level.
