03/05/21 – Intel is expressing interest in building large wafer fabs / chip factories in Germany and hopes to receive funding of up to eight billion euros. Within the framework of the “Important Project of Common European Interest”, IPCEI ME-II for short, funding to this amount would probably actually be feasible.
