06/02/2023 – Rohde & Schwarz is investing โฌ 60 million in the expansion of its site in #Memmingen. A new technology and manufacturing center ๐ข with around 400 #workplaces will be built.
The start of construction was officially heralded today with the groundbreaking ceremony in the presence of Minister President #Sรถder.
On an area of around 18,000 mยฒ, state-of-the-art premises are being created for
- #Research ๐ฌ and #Development โ๏ธ
- #precision manufacturing for #high-frequency electronics โก
- #manufacturing of #aviation electronics โ๏ธ and high-security #communication technology ๐ถ
The technology and manufacturing center is scheduled for completion in June 2024.
