05/11/2021 – Technology / semiconductor shortage / security of supply – – Germany and Europe must finally pick up speed on the crucial issue of the future. The sum of the incentives for the semiconductor industry envisaged by the EU government for the period 2020 to 2030 is only a fraction of what China, South Korea and the USA have promised for the same period. It is time to act now!

The ZVEI has published a new strategy paper entitled “Semiconductor Strategy for Germany and Europe”. In it, the association shows that policy measures must now focus on securing the supply of microchips of all sizes.
